8.3 Release Notes
All the new features and enhancements included in FileBound 8.3
FileBound 8.3 release focuses on FileBound’s foundation and enhancements to flexibility, scalability, and exceptional performance through key architecture updates.
FileBound 8.3 featured changes such as:

Improved speed and performance in core product areas, including Web Viewer, assignments, and search

Date masking, which adjusts date formats based on the user’s browser location to prevent confusion across regions, with the option to personalize date fields with date format masking

Sunset of the Windows Viewer from core FileBound to help unify the user experience (Note: The Windows Viewer will still be available for use through a downloadable plug-in until completely removed from the product.)

Continued improvements to the additional fields released in 8.2 to enable permissions, utilize search, and track changes

8.2 Release Notes
All the new features and enhancements included in FileBound 8.2
FileBound 8.2 focuses on improving the user experience, adding dynamic elements into formatting, as well as customization and flexibility for FileBound users and administrators. It includes features that enhance speed, improve processes, and increase efficiency.
FileBound 8.2 featured changes such as:

PDF file manipulation—rotate, delete, reorder, and add pages

100 additional data fields

Group restriction capabilities on specific workflows

Ability to group eForm fields, allowing user to apply a rule to the group

8.1.1 Release Notes
All the new features and enhancements included in FileBound 8.1.1
FileBound 8.1.1 is an incredibly user-friendly document management and workflow automation solution. Using the latest version of FileBound software will save time, reduce operational costs, enhance reporting, increase compliance, and much more. You’ll be able to securely save, access, share, and process the documents you or your team members need at any location, any time.
FileBound 8.1.1 has been built to help users breeze through their everyday tasks, including bulk document downloads, workflow management and reporting, more powerful e-forms, and more.
Upland FileBound decided to merge releases 8.1 and 8.1.1, which will update key core components with advanced capabilities and system customization options, provide a smoother user experience, and include some minor bug fixes.
FileBound 8.1.1 featured changes such as:
New APIs to take advantage of the updated database structure

Windows Viewer will use Microsoft Edge instead of Internet Explorer (Office documents will not open inside of the windows viewer)

Existing E-form processes will stay if configured in workflow, but users will not be able launch an E-form process from the viewer

CSV Import of users has been moved to Importer

Keeping in mind extensibility and new ways to use the product, updates to workflow, forms, and integrations are also a major focus of development in this release.
