Changes in behavior

The following changes have been made to the behavior of Tungsten Transformation 2025.1.

Improve web resource password security

Passwords in plain text are no longer displayed in the Project Builder once a project is saved or exported. This ensures that projects are secure and ensures that only those users who are meant to modify the project are able to do so.

OCR Server deprecation

The OCR Server will be deprecated and no longer available in a future version of Tungsten Transformation.

Upgrade OmniPage engine

The OmniPage recognition engine has been upgraded, improving recognition of bar codes and overall performance.

Upgrade Salience engine

The NLP engine has been updated to the latest version to support more languages and has better accuracy for named entities.

The Salience language packs have been upgraded and extended to include a fourth package that supports Swedish, Finnish, Danish, Norwegian, and Arabic languages.

Upgrade FormXtra engine

The ParaScript FormXtra recognition engine has been upgraded to introduce better multi-language support and better performance.
