Insurance Business Process Management

Tromba’s client is a state-level Insurance provider. They have roughly half a billion premiums and over a billion dollars in total assets. They currently have several hundred employees and a data environment driven and defined by over 100 million pieces of paper. Our client initially engaged Tromba as a full-time Intelligent Document Automation and Enterprise Content Management Architect. Tromba has worked with this client for over a decade. Tromba has helped this client develop and recognize an Enterprise data/document environment that will enable them to grow and respond to constantly shifting demands. 


As Tromba’s relationship grew, they quickly recognized that Tromba could help in areas beyond consulting: 

  1. A new software architecture vision has transformed their Application Services environment, enabling them to deliver better-featured products to their marketplace and respond more quickly to their users’ needs and ever-changing requirements. 

  2. Tromba’s Automation Solutions provides foundational business software quickly, accurately, and affordably, aligning with their clients' business, technical, and application visions. 


One of Tromba’s solutions was to create the core components, vision, design, and construction of a fax automation environment. The solution integrated an Enterprise Fax environment with a business process management platform, managing approximately 60,000 facsimiles monthly. Over 300 employees utilized the platform daily. The platform seamlessly integrated with our client's diverse technical environment, defined by an Oracle data environment, JAVA applications, Linux servers, and Windows desktops. Business processing that previously took upwards of fifteen days to complete a project cycle has been reduced to a two-day cycle time after the project.
