Home page restyling

The Home pages for the Advanced Designer, Quick Apps, and DocAI Studio design environments are restyled for consistency, with new colors and improved navigation.

Easy access to DocAI Studio from the TotalAgility Designer

DocAI Studio (previously Quick Capture) is an excellent application for quickly creating an intelligent document solution. It has been added to the Home page of TotalAgility Designer in addition to already being accessible from TotalAgility Apps.

Enhancements to form design

The following are the enhancements to form design.

  • Control hierarchy panel: This new panel in the form designer displays all form elements in a tree structure, helping you easily navigate, move, and delete controls.

  • An option to create a new form variable when configuring an action is added, making the design more efficient.

  • Search filtering options in the Dropdown list control: The “Starts with match” and “Contains match” filtering options let you specify whether to filter items that begin with or contain the entered text.

Enhancements to form styling

  • Configurable size for navigation menus: The UI for navigation menus is improved. You can control how the menu and the items appear by configuring the height, width, padding, and space between horizontal and vertical navigation items.

  • Job and case menu styling: New icons are added to the Case Details and Job Details navigation menus. The menus are collapsed by default at runtime. You must import the TotalAgility Workspace package to use this feature.

  • New color scheme for Copilot Chat window header: In the TotalAgility Designer and Workspace, the Copilot Chat window header is updated to a radial gradient and new colors. The same color scheme is also applied to the collapsed Chat box.

Enhancements to process design

Enhancements to process design include the following functionality.

  • Option to create a custom group while creating the custom service: A shortcut is added to the General tab of the new custom service to create a new group directly, rather than navigating to the Integration settings.

  • Dynamic selection of the process: You can dynamically override the base process configured for "Create new job," "Create subjob," and "Embedded process" using the process ID or name at runtime. This override enables you to tailor workflows and apply different process logic based on runtime conditions.

Enhancements to queries

The following are the enhancements to queries.

  • Option to return all activities in System query: System queries provide a means to view live and completed activities across the system. This option applies to manual or automatic activities for which the Core Worker, Transformation Server, and Export service are responsible. The new All option in the "Assigned to" filter in System queries returns a combined list of manual and automatic activities, providing complete visibility on dashboards to monitor system usage.

  • Allow the user to set the default query when the query edit is turned off.

Runtime enhancements

The following are the runtime enhancements.

  • Option to copy cell or row data: In TotalAgility Workspace, you can copy data from a cell or an entire row of a table, activities in the Work queue and Workload controls, and jobs in the Job list control.

  • Restrict displaying duplicate activities in the Work queue: The work queue displays duplicate activities if the activity is assigned to a user as an individual and as part of a group. You can disable duplicate activities in the work queue using the "Hide duplicate activities" system setting.

  • Restrict assigning activities to the Everyone group: The Reassign option is typically used to delegate work to specific groups or users. Therefore, allowing reassignment to everyone may not always be viable. The new "Include Everyone Group" option in the Work queue control enables solution designers to manage the visibility of the Everyone group.
