Capture Client enhancements

This topic includes the new and enhanced features and functionality in Capture Client.

• Replace multiple pages during scanning: The ability to replace many pages simultaneously with new ones is added to the "Scan" and "Scan create new job" activities.

• Option to disable the abandoned scan sessions: If you do not need to preserve scanned data, you can use the new system setting to disable saving abandoned sessions for scanned documents in Scan forms.

• Ability to set each side as a separate page in the Scan/VRS profile: A new scanning option, "Each side as separate page," is added to the duplex and automatic modes in the Scan/VRS profile. This option saves the front and back of one sheet of paper as separate pages, eliminating the need for editing at runtime.

• Restrict file import in Scan forms: An option to restrict file import in Scan forms is added through import settings in the Scan/VRS profile in the TotalAgility Designer. This approach is useful in restricted environments and helps to regulate data injections into the TotalAgility system.

  If the "Enable file import" setting is disabled, the user can only scan via the scanner but cannot use file import for existing files. If file import is enabled, the TotalAgility administrator can additionally set the allowed formats for file import from a supported formats list and save original images as document source files.

• Configurable default image viewing mode: The default image viewing mode can be configured for the Image viewer in Capture activities.
